5.) Does the system provide true guidance?

A wide variety of products are called GPS Guidance Systems, but in many cases it’s a pretty liberal interpretation of the word guidance.

Light Blip Limitations
The vast majority of systems, light bars and even some systems claiming virtual highway capabilities, provide “guidance” by getting drivers to react to an endless series of light blips. The light blips prompt the driver to steer straight, a little to the left or a little to the right based on his current position.

Pinball Guidance
This type of “guidance” resembles a virtual game of pinball where the spray vehicle is the ball that bounces back and forth off of invisible bumpers represented by the light blips.

SiteWinder provides a completely different breed of guidance. SiteWinder guides, not by telling a driver to maintain or modify his course every few seconds, but by giving the driver a clear view of the path he is on and what lays ahead.

SiteWinder – Guiding by Sight
As you spray using SiteWinder the display screen gives you a clear 3D picture of what you normally see from the driver’s seat. You see the field. You see the fence line. You can even see what’s behind you – your boom along with a picture of its spray coverage as you travel across the field. SiteWinder is the only system that gives you this real time visual record of spraying activity as it takes place.

Plus you see a clear yellow line on screen to keep you on the right spray path. It’s all right there in front of you in a single glance.
You can see row ends and curves coming well in advance, as well as any trees, rocks or other land features you’ve entered into the system.

SiteWinder guides by expanding your field of vision. Once you’ve experienced it, you’ll never go back to the blinking lights.

Don’t Be Fooled by “Virtual Highway”
One more word on guidance. Don’t be fooled by some systems with screens that may even claim “virtual highway” capabilities. Just because it has a screen doesn’t mean it gives you the guidance capability of SiteWinder. Some systems attach a screen to a light bar system and disguise it by using long illuminated screen segments. But it’s still just a light bar.

Only SiteWinder provides true 3D guidance.
